Unibright AMA Recap: Proof Matter, Platform Positioning, and the AI Verification Opportunity

June 2026 — The sixth installment of Unibright’s monthly AMA series introduced a clearer framing: Proof Matter as a trusted verification layer for digital execution. With some team members on summer break, this leaner session focused on strategic positioning and how proof of execution fits into emerging AI trends.

Joining moderator Zoe were Marten (Co-Founder & CEO) and Pierre (Co-CEO of SPO Consulting and founder of Audiogroup).

Proof Matter: Adding Value Through Verification

Marten framed the vision clearly: Proof Matter is not another tokenization platform. The focus is answering a different question entirely.

Marten: “We are not building another tokenization platform. We are looking at all the use cases and asking ourselves: what do we need to do so that a digital process actually happened as intended? Which signatures, validators, data points do we have to add to make these processes much more valuable?”

He illustrated with invoice factoring: simply tokenizing an invoice isn’t enough. To make it valuable and tradable, you need verification that the parties are creditworthy, that the companies exist, that the invoice hasn’t been factored before. Each verification adds trust, and trust creates value.

Pierre positioned it practically: enterprise infrastructure first, standards later — if success warrants it.

Pierre: “The standard thing comes naturally if the other stuff is successful. We shouldn’t plan to directly become the big standard. It’s much better to get included into enterprise infrastructures and then standardization happens due to success.”

UBT: Invisible for Customers, Essential for the Ecosystem

For enterprise customers, UBT is invisible — they interact with APIs, receive monthly invoices in fiat, and never need to think about tokens. But on the ecosystem side, UBT is essential for incentivizing developers, validators, and an open network.

Marten: “For customers, the whole token is transparent. They can just use the system API-based, and we invoice them monthly. But we want to build this open and inclusive ecosystem, and that’s why the UBT token is baked into it to incentivize all parties.”

Pierre offered reassurance on sustainability: with so much infrastructure already built, even a handful of clients keeps everything running indefinitely.

Pierre: “We don’t need a lot of clients to start with to keep everything sustainable. There’s no risk of us running out of opportunities or running out of cash.”

Competitive Positioning and Token Economics

On competition from large players like SAP, Marten drew a clear distinction: those companies build centralized, closed systems. Proof Matter is the opposite — open infrastructure where everyone can join, connected by UBT.

Regarding limited UBT price action, both speakers were direct: this is natural given the current stage. Usage-driven economics means token appreciation follows ecosystem growth, not artificial demand.

Pierre: “The game is not crypto-driven — it’s software-driven, solution-driven. People who are interested in speculation can anticipate that the more tokens are used and burned, the more the price will increase. But we are looking at the real business side.”

Exchange listings remain on the agenda but follow platform adoption — it’s better to become interesting enough that exchanges come asking.

AI: From Virtual to Real World

Marten sees AI verification as one of the first use cases Proof Matter will tackle, driven by regulatory pressure and practical necessity.

Marten: “Companies increasingly ask: which AI agent performed which action? Which data was used in training or inference? Was there authorization? This use case is one of the first we’re tackling.”

Pierre observed a broader trend: AI is shifting from digital applications toward real-world integration — robotics, defense, physical systems — making accountability even more critical.

The trend toward decentralized AI (local execution instead of cloud) expands the customer base: thousands of mid-tier enterprises running their own models, each needing to authenticate processes and comply with regulations.

Media Roadmap and Trust Badges

Pierre outlined the media industry sequence: Tunesat and music first, then gaming audio, then video and visual content.

Pierre: “Tunesat is a very good example for a B2B multiplier because it’s a service company that services basically all important music industry players in the world.”

Marten confirmed that a “Proof by Proof Matter” badge already exists in the platform design — attached to proofs once sufficient verification establishes trustworthiness.

Looking Ahead

The 12–18 month priorities: transition from closed to open platform, and have two or three customers live with real use cases.
